The job: At battleface, our focus is always on the customer’s journey, both literally and figuratively, and the crossroads of that journey lives in our technology platform. We leverage our platform to assess risk, provide emergency medical assistance, pay claims, and connect to travelers. We’re looking for engineers who want to help add to make the journey easier for our travelers. As a Front-End Angular Engineer, you will be working on web and mobile systems for a wide range of clients from different industries from around the globe.


Specifically we're looking for a Front-End Angular Engineer who will:

 

  • Participate in analysis and design activities so as to produce a viable system design that fits within the overall system architecture whilst addressing all the elicited requirements
  • Follow established development and testing procedures to ensure quality software development that meets the requirements
  • Create and maintains documentation regarding systems being developed in order to ensure long-term maintainability

Essentials:

  • University degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
  • A proficient and skilled developer with a deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, and Angular 2+
  • Experienced in working with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, .NET Core, or mobile development would be considered an asset
  • Having worked with A/B testing
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Previous experience working on large-scale web applications will also be considered an asset
  • A clear and effective communicator with the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation, and other documents that may be required to support software releases
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed team player who thrives in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines

  • Experience working on large scale projects with a large number of simultaneous requests
  • Experience with Ionic would be considered an asset
